Most of the breakdowns we see trace back to things a tune-up catches early: dirty coils, clogged drains, worn electrical parts, and dirty flame sensors. The Wright Way Maintenance Plan puts your system on a simple schedule, with a cooling tune-up in spring and a heating tune-up in fall, plus savings when you do need a repair.
Spring cooling tune-up: thermostat check, electrical connections with amp and voltage readings, safety devices, refrigerant charge and performance (superheat/subcooling), outdoor coil rinse and debris removal, condensate drain clearing and flushing, and a visual ductwork check.
Fall heating tune-up: thermostat check, electrical and safety devices, ignition sequence, inducer and pressure switches, flame sensor cleaning and testing, a visual heat exchanger inspection, gas pressure checks and gas valve adjustment, and emergency/backup heat operation.
Heat pumps also get a defrost cycle and reversing valve check, and we inspect UV lights and humidifiers where installed. The full checklist is on our home page.
